Yesterday Lübeck’s marketing association presented a lecture which was given by Dr Rainer Lademann.
About 100 listeners had followed the invitation to Priwall Beach, listening to the lecture on Lübeck’s economic perspectives („Einzelhandelsstandort Innenstadt – Entwicklungsperspektiven und strategische Herausforderungen für die Stadtentwicklung”).
Mr Lademann presented a study which says that economic prospects were not great until the year 2010. However, the city of Lübeck will have its oppotunities.
According to Mr Lademann, several factors take influence on the city’s economic development, such as the demographics, buying power and attraction of cultural events. Moreover, Mr Lademann says, shopping and parking areas and its proximity to the city were important as well.
After he had finished his economic studies in Göttingen, Mr Lademann became participator in Dr. Lademann & Partner Gesellschaft für Unternehmens- und Kommunalberatung mbH/Hamburg. Apart from that he is a lecturer at Göttingen University.
