Although Sand World is closing in almost a week, the sand sculptures are still in the media’s interest. Yesterday a camera team of Lübeck’s media school made a report on Sand World. However, there had not been a date for broadcasting yet.

Even visitors are attracted as much as at the beginning. Whereas other tourist destinations are already off-season, Sand World still greets many guests. Almost 270.000 visitors have been counted at the sculpture park so far. Sand World’s 300.000th guest is expected to arrive this weekend.

Sand World opens daily until September, 4.

Opening hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. -12 p.m.
Prices for adults: € 6, 00 p.p.; Children aged 5 to 11: € 3, 00; All prices include a passenger ferry to the Priwall peninsula (2 tours).
